The Department of Information Technology provides a list of all supported hardware and software on our website. Much time and effort goes into the research and testing of new hardware and software in our network environment on campus. The list provided has been fully tested and approved for our platforms, systems and network and fully supported by the Department of Information Technology.
The request for the purchase of Non-Supported Hardware and/or Software is with the understanding that it is purchased as is and that the department requesting these products is solely responsible for the compatibility issues, installation, licensing and support of the purchased product. Many products have unforeseen variables that you will need to consider before purchasing because they may not work in our environment.
